about_AeroFetch SYNOPSIS Covers the AeroFetch PowerShell Script Application/Command-Line Utility and its implimentation as a PowerShell Script Module. DESCRIPTION AeroFetch is a System Information Command-Line Utility for Microsoft's Windows Operating Systems, written entirely in the PowerShell Scripting Language, that mimics the functionality of the popular and well-known Linux Command-Line Utilities 'Screenfetch', and 'Neofetch'. It's purpose and goal is to display key information about the operating system, and the machine it is running on, alongside an aesthetically pleasing Ascii Art representation of the Operating System's logo, so that screenshots taken of a user's System Specs will look nicer than if it was displayed purely in plain text. USAGE Once AeroFetch is installed it is as simple as using the new command 'AeroFetch'. COMPATIBILITY Operating Systems: AeroFetch is designed to be a purely Windows-based Implimentation. It was developed primarily with users of Windows 10 and Windows 11 in mind, and is confirmed to work as intended on both Operating Systems. Older versions of Windows may experience bugs or other issues. PowerShell: AeroFetch is compatible ONLY with PowerShell Core. Windows PowerShell will not properly display ANSI Escape Sequence formatted text. |
